A resort in Maryland has opened a new thrill for winter vacationers.
The Mountain Coaster, at Maryland’s Wisp Resort, is a roller coaster that can operate year round — even in the winter.
The German-made attraction is friendly to those who like to ski. It is high enough for skiers at Wisp to pass underneath it.
The Mountain Coaster runs on stainless steel rails, and it will only have to shut it down when condition are icy.
At this time, more than 80 are in operation in Europe.

That reminds me of the Alpine Slide in NH. That’s really cool. You have a sled, sort of like a go-kart without wheels, and you slide down the hillside on a sort of half of tube. The only thing you have, is a stick in the middle to brake.
