Minecraft is one of the most popular videogames of all time. Based on what we heard from the 11-year-old fan we sent to see an early screening of A Minecraft Movie, the movie is just as good!

What is A Minecraft Movie about?
The movie is about four people who are pulled through a portal into the world of Minecraft. Once inside, they must use their imaginations to master the world while embarking on a quest with an expert crafter named Steve. Just like the game!
Lots of surprises with a big, fun ending!
There were lots of surprises and Easter eggs in the movie that Minecraft fans will enjoy. I liked all the characters, and they all had fun side stories.
Will older kids enjoy it, or is it just for younger kids?
I think younger Minecraft fans will enjoy the movie. Teenagers who grew up playing Minecraft will have fun if they’re interested in seeing someone else’s take on the game they love.
Did people in the theater with you seem to enjoy the movie?
The theater was packed, and there were lots of excited Minecraft kids waiting in long lines for the show to start. Everyone had so much fun!
