Happy Birthday, Corvette!

On June 30, 1953, Chevrolet rolled out a new sports car called the “Corvette.” Those first Corvettes were made from a revolutionary new material called fiberglass. Each was painted white outside and came with red interior. Produced in Flint, Mich., the first Corvettes cost $3,513.
