Fishermen off Florida’s coast pulled a rare giant squid out of the Atlantic this week. The squid was 23 feet long. Officials sent the squid to St. Petersburg for examination.

I thought the Giant Squid lived in the deep sea. How could they catch it?

Giant Squid switch being in different ocean zones,going deeper during the day and moving more towards the surface at night.They must have caught the squid when it was dusk.
