Zoo employees showed up at work this week to find a 41-year-old, 4,000-pound white rhinoceros out of his overnight cage. “Archie” the rhino wandered around for 5 hours before 20 zoo workers could surround and sedate him.
This wasn’t Archie’s first adventure outside his cage. He also escaped years ago. On neither occasion did Archie enter public areas, and no one was injured.
Seems there are a lot of loose animals recently.
