A 24-year-old Michigan man walked across his entire home state on stilts. The 830-mile journey was to raise awareness for cerebral palsy.
Neil Sauter began walking in early May. His journey ended eight weeks later in Ironwood, Mich.
Sauter, who has mild cerebral palsy, used three pairs of stilts. He raised $16,000 for United Cerebral Palsy of Michigan, and a 3-to-1 matching grant brings that total to $64,000.
