In Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Peter Parker’s not the only Spidey in town. In this animated version of the Spider-Man story, Miles Morales juggles his high school life with his status as a superhero.
Miles Morales is a newish comic book character. He first appearing in Ultimate Fallout #4 (August 2011), but he’s a fun changeup to the Spider-Man persona.
Here are some Miles Morales differences from the original Spidey:
1. Miles was bitten by a different genetically engineered spider than the one that bit Peter Parker.
2. Miles possesses abilities similar to the original Spider-Man’s. But he has two abilities that the original Spider-Man didn’t have. The ability to camouflage himself to match his surroundings. Also, he has a “venom strike” that can paralyze almost anyone with just a touch.
3. Miles wears a costume given to him by S.H.I.E.L.D.
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse hits theaters December 21.
