The first Ford Mustangs rolled off the assembly line in Michigan on March 9, 1964. Ford expected just 100,000 cars to be sold across the country. Instead, more than 400,000 were sold in the first year, and the legendary Mustang was born.
Since then, more than 9.2 million Mustangs have been produced and sold. It’s one of the most iconic, recognizable and well-loved cars on the road. Now, Ford celebrates its 50th anniversary with an all-new design.
