Police handcuffed an alligator this morning, after the reptile was seen lounging near an elementary school in Tampa, Fla. A crossing guard first spotted the 7-foot-long gator just around the time children were walking to class.
Three deputies called a trapper, but they had to take action after the alligator began walking toward the kids. The deputies roped the gator’s neck and tail, handcuffed its hind legs and taped its mouth. This worked until the trapper arrived.
Imagine going to school and seeing a gator at the cross-walk! 🙁
