Sinking an ace is hard enough, but what about a 92-year-old blind man performing the feat?
Leo Fiyalko didn’t see it happen, but is buddies sure did. Fiyalko, who has been golfing for 60 years, scored a hole-in-one on the fifth hole at Cove Cay Country Club in Clearwater, Fla.
Despite being 92 and suffering from Macular degeneration, Fiyalko plays every Thursday with a group of golfers ranging in age from 70 to 90-plus. Because he has peripheral vision only in his right eye, he needs help lining up his shot and locating his play.
