Orangutans at Zoo Atlanta can now play various video games on a touch-screen computer built into a fake tree inside their exhibit.
No, they aren’t playing Pokemon or Super Paper Mario. The new “game kiosk” allows the primates to play matching games, draw with shapes and colors, and other activities to help researchers understand their mental abilities.
Visitors can watch them play on a video monitor at the front of the exhibit.
