Turtles Delay New York Flights

NewTurtleA group of meandering turtles has caused delays at one of the world’s busiest airports. New York City’s John F. Kennedy Airport serves almost 50 million passengers each year, but 78 diamondback terrapins stumbled onto a runway that juts out into a bay Wednesday morning, delaying flights until they could be gathered and returned to the wild.
