A chimpanzee that once performed in a circus is now painting in retirement. Called “Jimmy,” this 26-year-old primate is drawing large crowds to his home zoo in Niteroi, Brazil.
Zookeepers gave Jimmy the paint, brushes and canvas three weeks ago after noticing he didn’t like normal zoo toys. Now, for 30 minutes each day, Jimmy creates “surprisingly lovely paintings.” The zoo is planning an art exhibition for Jimmy.
Cool.

I saw a glimpse of the painting on the link. It was a beautiful mix of colors and an interesting shape. (Amazing!)
