Kindle Fire

Amazon has released a slew of new products, one of which looks an awful lot like the iPad, only it’s way cheaper.

The Kindle Fire is a 7-inch, touch-screen Wi-Fi-enabled tablet that can play movies, music and games, as well as serve as an e-reader, email client and web browser. It costs $199, about $300 less than the cheapest iPad.

The company also announced the Kindle Touch ($99) and a new regular Kindle ($79).

  1. I won one in a contest, it is SOOOO nice! It can do way more than the Ipad. The only downside is that some of the bigger books are on the expensive side. “Inkheart” is $8.95.
