A team of Australian researchers have discovered one of the most effective all natural mosquito repellents. The source-frog skin.

Because frogs have very delicate skins, which can make them vulnerable to infection and predators, it’s no wonder that their skin is full of chemicals to keep them healthy.

Although the repellent has proven to be rather effective during testing, there is a downside-the smell.

Some of the chemicals secreted through the skin of certain frogs have an odor of rotting meat. Others can smell of nuts or thyme leaves.

Researches believe that the strong smell is what repels biting insects.
