The scary video above shows pro-snowboarder Meesh Hytner enjoying the fresh powder in Colorado, when a sudden Class 3 avalanche hits and snow suddenly begins barreling down the mountain. While this situation is always dangerous, Hytner was well prepared, and wearing an airbag system.
The Backcountry Access Float 30 probably saved her life, allowing her to “float” on her back as the snow swept her down the mountain. Hytner was very lucky to come out safe, and didn’t sustain any injuries.
