Scouts to climb Kilimanjaro

A group of Scouts from Simsbury, Conn., are planning to climb Africa’s Mount Kilimanjaro this summer, according to an article in the Hartford Courant.

A group of Scouts from Simsbury, Conn., are planning to climb Africa’s Mount Kilimanjaro this summer.

Mount Kilimanjaro is Africa’s largest mountain and rises from rainforests at its base to ice fields at its summit.

The Scouts have been preparing for the trip for two years with frequent hiking and other outings, as well as earning money.
