Scouts rescue bald eagle

When a Scout troop in Michigan stumbled on an injured eagle while hiking, they knew they had to get help.

The Scouts from Troop 366 in Oxford, Mich., told their Scout leader, who helped them bring the bird back to camp where a raptor rehabilitation expert took over its care.

The young eagle underwent surgery for a broken bone and is now recovering. The raptor expert hopes to help the bird regain its strength and eventually release it back into the wild.
