Lost Pyramid Found

The final resting place of an ancient Egyptian pharaoh was found last week after being buried for centuries. This pyramid is thought to be the tomb of King Menkauhor, who ruled in the 2400’s B.C.

The pyramid was buried in the sand at Saqqara, a royal burial complex near Cairo. Just moving the sand took archaeologists nearly 18 months.
