A 5-year-old boy has pledged all his money to help rebuild a burned fire station. Joshua Shaffer had spent his short life saving up $45.85 worth of change, and he quickly gave it away to help a worthy cause.
When the Sissonville Volunteer Fire Department in Charleston, W.Va., burned in an electrical fire, schoolchildren and the rest of the community pitched in to help. Joshua’s money, stashed in a piggy bank, is just a small part of the community’s sacrifice.
Nice Josh. Cub Scouts are always looking for people like you to join.
very generous and heartwarming
