Great Britain’s Oldest Toy?

Researchers have found a chalk figure of a hedgehog or pig buried next to a prehistoric baby at the English landmark of Stonehenge. It’s thought that the toy dates to the Bronze Age – almost 2,000 years ago.

The toy was found in September near Stonehenge – an ancient stone monument in southern England. The child’s grave where the toy was found dates somewhere between 800 B.C. to 20 B.C. Signs of toys in Great Britain during this time are “extremely scant.”
