Reindeer aren’t just busy on Christmas. The antlered animals were honored guests at the first annual running of the reindeer in Anchorage, Alaska.
Hundreds of cheering citizens lined Fourth Avenue to watch the Alaskan version of Spain’s running of the bulls. Approximately 1,000 costumed runners participated. When the signal came, the reindeer stampeded into the crowd and through the streets.
