More than 1,000 rats rescued from a house featured on a reality television show are now up for adoption in San Jose, Calif. The Humane Society moved the rodents to San Jose from Los Angeles after they made an appearance on A&E’s “Hoarders.” The rats are now available at Andy’s Pet Shop in San Jose.
The house featured on the show became infested after the owner’s daughter brought home a pregnant rat. When the rat gave birth, the number of rodents quickly spiraled out of control. The owner of the home called A&E to help after the hundreds of rats began destroying the home.
I’m glad that the rats are safe!!
I’m all for saving animals but that’s alot of rats.
ugghhh! I personally wouldn’t want a bunch of baby rats running around my home!!
