Mary Ruth Justice lost her wallet more than 60 years ago on the campus of Georgia College and State University. Though Justice passed away two decades ago, the wallet was returned to her family last week.
The wallet was found a few weeks ago when construction crews were renovating the university’s theater. It was sitting on the ledge of a wall in the basement. Inside were five photos, a Social Security card and a Georgia state employment card. Campus officials tracked down the family.
