Two Suns?

No, this isn’t the planet Tatooine from “Star Wars.” Twin suns were captured last week in a photo taken in China. One sun looked “crisp and yellow,” while the other appeared “fuzzy and orange.”

According to a University of Illinois professor, the appearance of two suns was caused by a rare optical refraction. Rumors had spread that the second sun was an exploding star. It’s nothing that exciting, though — just a mirage.
