Two-Headed Snake

A Tennessee resident recently found a snake that amazed even the most experienced wildlife officials in the state.

At first glance, the animal looked like a regular baby kingsnake. (It looks like an eastern kingsnake to us.) Upon closer inspection, the man found that the snake has two heads.

“I was worried which head was going to bite me,” the man says.

He needn’t have worried. Kingsnakes are not poisonous, and are in fact often kept as pets.
