A high school football player’s life was saved last week when a group of teammates rushed to help him. John Gerry, a student at Maine’s Rockland District High School, was riding on the hood of a car when he fell to the ground. One of the car’s tires ended up on Gerry’s back.
Six players and two parents rushed to help. They tilted the car upward to help ease the pressure on Gerry’s back. After holding the car for 20 minutes, the ambulance arrived.
Gerry admits that riding on the hood of a car is a bad idea. After winning their game this weekend, Gerry’s teammates gave him the game ball.
i feel so bad for him
omg that has to hurt so bad. but riding on the hood of a car isn’t the smartest thing to do.
