Igor Vovkovinskiy is now the tallest man in America, according to Guinness World Records. The 27-year-old Minnesotan measured 7 feet 8.33 inches tall this week, barely edging out George Bell of Norfolk, Va. Vovkovinskiy was born in Ukraine. He moved to the United States at age 7 to treat the pituitary disease that caused his rapid growth.
Turkey’s Sultan Kosen is the world’s tallest man. He stands 8 feet 1 inch tall.
