An 84-year-old lasted five days in the desert with no water and little hope. Henry Morello, of Anthem, Ariz., got lost on his way home last week, then became stuck in a ditch while making a U-turn. His cell phone and car batteries then died. While stranded for those five days, he drank windshield wiper fluid in an attempt to stay hydrated. (Don’t try that at home!)
While family, friends and neighbors were searching for him, a helicopter spotted Henry in the desert. Despite suffering from diabetes, Henry is now in good condition and recovering.
