Peter Parker, Spider-Man’s alter ego, loses his photography job in the newest issue Marvel’s Amazing Spider-Man. Parker had been working as the mayor’s official photographer. He previously worked at The Daily Bugle.
“He’s going to struggle with unemployment and trying to save the city while he can barely afford to keep a roof over his head,” said Steve Wacker, Marvel Comics senior editor.
That stinks
I THOUGHT HE LOST HIS REAL JOB!!!!! NOT IN THE COMIC!!!!!!!>:(
Me too. Anyway, how could they do this?!? It’s almost as shocking as when Phoenix died in X-men #137… you don’t get rid of something that people are used to! It just isn’t right.
wow! i read the novel with the first issues of S.M. i never knew he was with the mayor now or was but anyway Marvel probubly just wants the recession to be reflected in the comics to show how they feel about it, but hey what do i know, i read DC mostly.
