The Monte Kaolino ski resort in Hirschau, Bavaria, Germany has no snow, but it’s still among the most popular in the country. That’s because skiers there have traded fluffy flakes for coarse grains.
Sandboarding is a board sport similar to snowboarding that takes place on sand dunes rather than snow-covered mountains. This board sport has fans around the world, although its most popular in desert areas or coastal areas with beach dunes.
Sandboarders from around the world visit the now defunct mining operation, that’s been transofrmed into a fully functioning ski lodge. In addition to being a popular ski destination, the report plays host to the World Sandboarding Championships. Check out images of the ski resort below.

This is one of the coolest things I’ve seen thanks for sharing I didn’t know they had made actual mountains for sandboarding I thought it was only on the dunes. I am going to check out more of this because it is so cool.
