The Hubble Space Telescope has been in orbit for nearly 30 years, but it’s still producing incredible images.
Most recently, the image above was released showing a pair of barred spiral galaxies in the process of merging. The galaxies are roughly 350 million light years away. The process will take millions of years, but the image is still a unique look at an unusual interstellar phenomena.
