See the resemblance? Biologists at the Auburn University Museum of Natural History did.

Interestingly, the catfish is just one series of newly found organisms named after celebrities and fictional characters. The list includes:
- Scaptia (Plinthina) beyonceae, a golden horse fly named after the pop star Beyoncé.
- Kootenichela deppi, an extinct arthropod named after Johnny Depp, due to the creature’s pinchers, which resembled those of Edward Scissorhands
- Yoda purpurata, a reddish-purple acorn worm with large lips on either side of its head named after the “Star Wars” character Yoda
