An 8-foot shark shocked fishermen by jumping into their boat this week. Jason Kresse and two crewmembers were dumping fish guts into the water 50 miles off the coast of Texas when the 375-pound mako shark landed in the back of their boat.
The shark was thrashing too much for the fishermen to get close. It died several hours later. Back on land, the crew needed a forklift to unload the heavy shark.
Divers encountered a mako shark in BL fiction from December 1962. Click here to read it all.
