Helmet Snake

An Arkansas high school football practice stopped this week when a snake was discovered in one of the player’s helmets. Senior Darrick Strzelecki had felt something odd inside his helmet throughout the beginning of the workout. During a break, he removed his helmet and found what he first thought was a rubber snake — a practical joke prop placed there by a teammate. But when he grabbed the snake’s tale, it moved. Darrick threw down his helmet, and the rest of practice was canceled.
