Say Hello to the Curiosity Rover

The image above comes straight from Mars, where NASA’s Curiosity Rover is roaming around the Martian surface.

We’re still amazed that a robotic vehicle on another planet can send instant photos through space for our viewing pleasure. But what do we know, we’re also impressed by silly cat photos.

That said, it’s still a The photo is actually a mosaic of 55 high-resolution images snapped with Curiosity’s extendable arm. After a month on the Red Planet the rover is still looking good. A little dusty, but good.
