Frog-Jam

Traffic stopped this week near Thessaloniki, Greece, thanks to a swarm of frogs. The Egnatia Highway, a busy thoroughfare near Greece’s second-largest city, was closed after thousands of green hoppers left a nearby lake to look for food.

Three cars skidded off the road while trying to dodge frogs Wednesday. Authorities expect the frogs to disrupt traffic through the weekend.
