A volcano located in a remote area of Alaska appears to be on the verge of eruption. The Cleveland Volcano is located in the Aleutian Islands, 940 miles southwest of Anchorage. The volcano’s dome has increased in diameter from 262 feet to 394 feet in less than two weeks.
An eruption could produce an ash cloud that stretches 20,000 feet above sea level. Click here to follow Cleveland Volcano via webcam.
