Electric BMW

BMW’s Concept ActiveE, a prototype car with an electric drivetrain, is moving into production. That means a BMW with Lithum-ion cells in place of a gas tank will soon be for sale at a dealership near you.

This electric BMW takes 16-20 hours to charge in a regular outlet. It accelerates 0 to 60 in about 9 seconds, and it tops out at 90 miles per hour.
