Each year, automakers show off their hottest new cars at shows across the world, introducing the latest designs, features and technology. I’m here with a look at the best. So, buckle up and take a look at the coolest, fastest, most remarkable cars around.
Ford GT
Three words: American. Muscle. Car. The high-performance GT features a mid-mounted 600-horsepower twin-turbocharged V-6 engine that guarantees its spot as one of the fastest cars on the road. With a sleek body, the car is as jaw-dropping as it is racetrack-ready. Inside, the Formula 1-inspired steering wheel acts as a dashboard, letting the driver choose one of four driving modes (normal, sport, track and wet) with the touch of a button. That means the GT will operate smoothly in just about any road condition. It also uses lightweight materials, including carbon fiber and aluminum, for improved efficiency and acceleration.
Range Rover SVAutobiography
Sport utility vehicles aren’t typically the coolest cars on the road, but this is no ordinary SUV. Packed with interior features like mohair carpeting, electric passenger tables, tailgate seating [confirm] and a built-in beverage cooler, the SVAutobiography is built with luxury in mind. Under the hood sits the most powerful engine in Range Rover history: an all-aluminum V-8 supercharged beast that powers the behemoth SUV from 0 to 60 mph in just 5.4 seconds.
Toyota FT-1
The flashy coupe looks more like a Batmobile than your average sports car. The FT-1 features an engine-revealing hood, wraparound windshield and a steering-wheel-mounted info panel. The FT-1 started as a concept car in 2014, but Toyota plans to produce the car in 2017 [confirm]. Plus, at roughly $100,000, it’s one of the most “affordable” cars in this roundup.
McLaren 570S
Sure, the 570S is $185,000, but it’s the cheapest in McLaren’s lineup. It features scissor doors, a massive touchscreen control panel and a recordable front fender camera. The 570S sports one of the most impressive engines on the planet — a twin-turbo, 562-horsepower V-8 that gives the supercar a 0-to-60 mph time of 3.2 seconds and a top speed of 204 mph.
Acura NSX
While its futuristic exterior design is striking, it’s the interior styling that’s most remarkable. The NSX features what Acura calls the “Human Support Cockpit,” offering exceptional driver visibility, control and comfort. There’s even a hybrid version for buyers who are as passionate about the environment as they are about performance. Also cool: The NSX is built at a new facility in Ohio, not the traditional Acura plant in Japan.
Aston Martin Vulcan
The good news is that the Vulcan is one of the most incredible cars ever assembled. The bad news? You’ll probably never see one in person. It’s not even street-legal. Plus, Aston Martin is making only 24 of these 800-horsepower monsters, and they cost about $2.3 million each. The V-12 Vulcan is a track-only sports car that will be used mostly in official International Automobile Federation races.
BMW i8
With a state-of-the-art carbon-fiber frame, large butterfly-opening doors and flashy touches of electric blue throughout, the i8 might be one of the most futuristic-looking cars around. BL first featured the i8 in 2014 when it was still a concept car. Now we have more details, like the price: a whopping $136,000. For some, the performance will be worth the cost. This plug-in hybrid accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in about four seconds, gets 87 miles per gallon and has a top speed of 155 mph.
Kia K900
Thanks to Kia’s affordable, sporty and high-tech lineup, the manufacturer is making a big comeback. The K900 might be its most impressive car ever. Its interior is what sets the K900 apart. The speedy coupe features a panoramic sunroof, power rear-window sunshade, top-of-the-line finishes and 17 booming speakers. Not enough? For $10,000 more, you can get the King James Edition, featuring luxurious add-ons like 22-inch wheels, a limited edition paintjob and suede seating — all designed by NBA superstar LeBron James.

I love the BMW i8. It is hard to explain why since I know I should be more impressed with the Aston Martin. You know a car is going to be great when it looks that good and the doors open up. http://qualitylambodoors.com/collections
