Union Pacific Railroad has unveiled the UP No. 2010 Boy Scouts of America Locomotive, created as a tribute to the BSA’s centennial celebration. Union Pacific has created only 12 commemorative locomotives in its history. The Boy Scouts-themed locomotive will be decorated with Scouting logos and emblems.
The UP No. 2010 locomotive will haul freight all across Union Pacific’s 32,000-mile network of railroads. Because it is one of the newest and most fuel-efficient locomotives, UP No. 2010 will likely carry service-sensitive automotive and intermodal shipments.
YO, pretty cool train.
An honor, you could say.
