The following riddle has been making the rounds online, confounding people around the world.
Now it’s your turn.
Here’s the riddle:
Albert and Bernard just became friends with Cheryl, and they want to know when her birthday is. Cheryl gives them a list of 10 possible dates:
May 15 May 16 May 19
June 17 June 18
July 14 July 16
August 14 August 15 August 17
Cheryl then separately tells Albert and Bernard the month and the day of her birthday respectively.
Albert: I don’t know when Cheryl’s birthday is, but I know that Bernard does not know too.
Bernard: At first I don’t know when Cheryl’s birthday is, but I know now.
Albert: Then I also know when Cheryl’s birthday is.
When is Cheryl’s birthday?
See the video for the answer (but don’t watch it until you’re ready to be spoiled):
So tough!
“Here’s a thought, Cheryl could’ve just told them her real birthday”
I couldn’t agree more.
without watching I’m going to guess may 19
I was thinking it was May 19 as well because that is the only one that doesn’t have a date similar to others (i.e. May 16 and July 16).
If you watched the video you will find out it’s July 16
