Albert Einstein is one of the most famous scientists in history. That’s why his 1931 Levi Strauss leather jacket is going to auction and expected to sale for up to $100,000. Einstein wore it on the cover of Time magazine, and it will be sold alongside Einstein’s pocket watch and a box of building blocks – a toy similar to the modern Lego bricks.
According to Christie’s:
“This is an incredibly worn, rather pungent leather jacket, that belonged to Albert Einstein. “This jacket seems to capture Einstein’s mood as he embarks on a new life in the US. It’s made by Levi Strauss, and feels particularly American.”
I’m trying to catch up with you. I’ve lost 15lbs so far and for the first time in my life I HAVE TO wear a belt to avoid looking like the creepy old guy lurking behind the stacks in the library. You probably have seen this guy.I imagine I could catch up to you if I gave up drinking, but I’m trying to counter that with running every other day instead. Just let me keep one vice pleeseeeeeeeeeeeaee!
