When the Milwaukee Animal Rescue Center needed some cash to pay for a new facility, they turned to Daniel.
Daniel is a cat with two extra toes on each paw, bringing the total to 26 toes overall. The rescue center asked animal lovers across the country for donations of $1 for each toe and ended up with more than $50,000, enough make a down payment on their new property.
Other than having the extra toes, Daniel is perfectly healthy. Because of his excellent fundraising work, he’s been named the official mascot of the rescue center.
