100,000 birds over Rome

Take a look at the amazing aerial displays put on by starlings in the skies over Rome.

During the fall and winter, over 100,000 of these birds return to roost in the Italian city after foraging all day for food in the countryside. Before settling down for the night, they soar over the city producing amazing aerial formations.
